Okay, so the point of the post really isn’t about that. I really think a lot of people need to seperate Kanye’s work from his politics and actions. Lumping them together seems to be an easy way for anyone to dismiss his music because of some of his views. Regardless, the big news hitting the streetwear blogs is that Kanye has verbally confirmed his collaborative shoes with Louis Vuitton, dropping in summer 2009.
Personally, they just look like white on whites to me. I was hoping for some premium leathers, because you know the price tag is going to be nothing short of astronomical. Anyway, I really enjoyed this video he has chatting with some paparazzi after leaving LV. He ends up getting into a dark gray Aston Martin DB9 which is absolutely stunning. And just like his song “Throw Some D’s” claims, it doesn’t appear that he upgraded the rims.
