Two good bits of news from Nike today on the Air Force front, first the Nike Air Force 1 Low x Nike Air Huarache Mean Green. While 2007 was the year of quantity AF1 releases, it looks like 2009 is shaping up to be a year of quality releases.
The varsity blue really pops with the white midsole/sole and the mean green details are subtle and yet still prevalent. I also was relieved to see these were dropping as a Supreme AF1, but also that they’d only be $125. It is disappointing how many shoes drop that are overpriced or incredibly limited that unless you live in major cities, you can’t cop. And with the Supreme designation, you know the materials on this will be of the highest quality. Keep your eyes peeled for an April 11th release.

I posted about this Nike Air Force II “Nintendo Wii” inspired sneakers last November, and we are finally approaching the release date. Not much has changed since then – these AFIIs still feature safari print, the deal-making clear side panels and On/Off button on the tongue. Very nice, albeit clunky.

Much better than those Nintendo Wii Blazers…the only Blazer ever worth copping were the Supreme Blazers:
