rockbox ipod software update

During my quest for lossless audio I came upon the debate between FLAC and ALAC filetypes.  Seeing as the iPod would be my main source for audio playback, as well as iTunes, it only made sense to use ALAC to encode instead of FLAC.  Rockbox basically is basically open source firmware for your iPod that will allow the iPod to play FLAC encoded songs as well as many other types, completely changing the way the iPod functions.  I may give it a go at some point, I just hope the skins can match the classic look of the iPod/iTunes interface.
